I get a "CAS is unavailable" when I go to the Portal, What do I do?
Updated onArticleSometimes when you head to the UArts Portal, you will encounter a strange error. The page will load and you will see "CAS is unavailable". Refreshing the page or browser doesn't seem to fix it. This is caused by your browser saving a bad version of the site to help speed up load times. Often this bad version comes from an outdated link or an old bookmarked URL.

How to turn off automatic MacOS upgrades?
Updated onArticleThere are two different updates that macOS provides. One is operating system upgrades and the other is operating system updates. To ensure that university applications work, please do not upgrade to the latest macOS version 13 named Ventura. OTIS will notify when it all testing is done to ensure University provided software works with the new macOS.
System updates are recommended to ensure proper operation of your computer and University software. This will not upgrade your current macOS.

What kind of devices are supported on the network?
Updated onArticleThe UArts network is an enterprise level network. Normal consumer devices will not be able to connect to the network. Network Services has made some adjustments that that allow certain consumer devices on to the network. The follow devices are allowed on the network. Please note that your millage may vary on success and connection strength. There may be some restrictions on access as well.
