How can students print on campus?

Student printing is possible by installing an application on your personal computer. Follow these instruction and you will be able to print from public printers located across the UArts campus.

Its a good idea to know the Network Name of the printer you want to print from before you start this process

This is a list of publicly available printers and where they are located

  1. T802-PS-C01 [Print02](Mobility), Terra 802
  2. T1031-MU-C01 [Print02](Mobility) in Terra 1031
  3. T1316-PS-C02 [Print02](Mobility), Terra 13th Floor Hallway (outside the Print Shop)
  4. H230-REGI-C01 [Print02](Mobility),Hamilton 2nd floor Hallway (outside the Registrar’s Office)
  5. A101-LIBR-C01 [Print02](Mobility), Anderson Greenfield Library
  6. A201-GRAD-C01 [Print02](Mobility), Anderson 201 (Grad students only)

1. Pick your operating system below

Mac OS click here

2. Open Self Service Application

If you do not already have Self Service follow this Link

3. In the Self Service Application search the term "Print" and then click "Open"

A new window will pop up

4. Click the green button "Download and run Mobility Print"

5. Open the file that was downloaded

6. Run the "PaperCut Mobility Print Client"

7. Click continue through Install Client

8. Click "Install" and then "Close"

9. Head back to the Print Mobility website

10. Click the green button under Step 2 "Connect and get my printers"

11. Click "Open PaperCut Mobility Print" when the button pops up

After completing this step nothing will pop up, the Print Mobility Client works quietly in the background of your computer. Trust the process and head to step 12

12. Open the document you wish to print and select print

Step 12 and 13 may differ slightly depending on what program you are using to print from e.g. Google Docs, Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat

13. Find the Destination or Printer drop down menu

14. Click the drop down and select the printer you want to use

15. Click Print

14. Congratulations!

You have wirelessly printed from a personal computer to a UArts printer!

Windows PC click here

The name of the application is Print Mobility from Papercut

3. Click the green button "Download and run Mobility Print"

4. Open the file that was downloaded

You can also find the file in your Downloads folder

5. Click "Next" on the install wizard that pops up

When install is complete click "Finish"

6. Head back to the Print Mobility website

7. Click the green button under Step 2 "Connect and get my printers"

8. Click "Open PaperCut Mobility Print" when the button pops up
